- Location: Laurel, Mississippi, United States
I grew up as a sharecroppers son in rural Mississippi, but while growing up I read everything I could get my hands on, which was plenty thanks to a wonderful English Teacher who also persuaded my father to sign for me to join the Military 4 days after my 17th birthday because the little school i was attending could offer me nothing else. I spent 9 years in Navy Intelligence as a Cryptologist then was discharged on disability. I have been totally disabled since 1978.
